Plot hole?! (logical psychology)

As in act 5 where Riley been show severe problems and falls to the ground with blood coming from her mouth isnt it logical (psychological) for one or some bystanders to take action and call 911 or rushing to the school meds.

Doesnt make sense to me even as high school students and in particular those directly around riley supposedly cheerleaders not to take action at all. Clearly you see that riley having a sort of trauma.

Just wondering how other people think of this.

There are lots of true stories in which nobody helps someone who is clearly in very bad shape. "I just didn't want to get involved" is the general excuse. Also, when you do get involved, you risk being held responsible if you do something that makes the situation worse. For example, I'll walk past a homeless person who could clearly use help, just like most everyone else. It sometimes takes a lot of strength to step in. I certainly wouldn't call this a plot hole.

Actually, there are psychological studies about it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bystander_effect

Thx :) I came across the that while ago and forgot to get back to this post. Good that you still responded. Now others will know.

Well, let I say that I will not be the person fall in that human psycholigy. I hope other people who read this remember this post and will not be that person that stand by and watch but take action. Redundancy is always beter than doing nothing and be a zombie.
