He left and ruined the consistency of arguably the most epic and soon to be classic TV show series of our generation to star in a C/D grade movie ! Was he committed to do so due to contactual close or is he just not very bright ?
shareHe might have seen it as an opportunity to steer his career towards being more of a leading man, instead of a supporting character that won't be focused on much (although that might change next season of GoT).
I was disappointed when I first found out he left GoT, too. Personally I still think he was better than the actor they replaced him with.
Not a great movie leaving a great show for a C action flick
