Missed Opportunity

Boy, this could have been such a terrific film. Oscar Isaac is a brilliant actor but both he and Jessica Chastain, along with the rest of the cast, were let down by a lacklustre screenplay and sluggish direction. The characters and story never got out of first gear. I can understand why Javier Bardem walked away from the lead role.
