College Before Smartphones

This was an average movie at best (could've shaved off a half hour), but what stood out for me was how physically present people were with each other before smartphones. Instead of everyone just staring at their phones, people had face-to-face conversations, made eye contact, and got to know each other the same way people did for centuries—by talking, listening, and observing.

Bonus points for including a discussion of Floyd’s “Fearless.” That song is a beauty.

Food in Films: There was a lot more drinking than eating. These guys basically subsisted on Lone Star and weed. But the BBQ plates looked good.
