In September (when I visited the park/the set) I was told by the vice superintendent of the park that he was instructed to keep the cabins intact until the show was cancelled.
According to the wiki page, it was cancelled in September =(.
I love supernatural suspense shows like this, and the river, but they REALLY don't seem to last long. Makes me gun shy about even bothering to watch them anymore, when in all likely hood, they'll be cancelled.
Same here. If I read what a new is about and I think 'that could be interesting', I no longer want to see it, because it will most likely get cancelled anyway.
It seems that the only shows allowed to last for all eternity are those obnoxious 'reality'shows.
NBC hasn't confirmed anything about cancellation. If the Wikipedia page says something about the series ending, it's merely speculation.
In all regards though, the second season would be set to premiere in three months. To write a script, film and do post-production in that amount of time would be asking a miracle. Unfortunately, it looks like Siberia won't be seeing any follow-up.
This is the longest cancellation cliffhanger I've been attending. Except for Jericho but that show is just like a bad couple who almost get together all the time, so that doesn't count
