Where is Uranus?

SPOILER ALERT

Brad Pitt trip to Neptune jumps from Saturn to Neptune WITHOUT passing through Uranus ... why was that?
Did the director forgot that planet?

LOL

I'm still annoyed that the agency that governs the names of planets continues to keep it called Uranus, its name needs to be changed. It's just a mockery already and stupid.

reply

No one wants to explore Uranus. Stop asking.

reply

Thanks for the laugh. I needed that after watching this borefest.

Oddly it is the only planet in the solar system (other than Earth) that isn’t named after a Roman god. It is named after a Greek god. The Roman equivalent would be Caelus.

reply

Exactly, there was that as well. Plenty of awesome Roman names that can be used instead.

Uranus is the ancient Greek name for Father Sky, from Greek mythology. I assure you that the last thing on the ancient Greeks' minds when they came up with that name was the colon's exit ramp.

reply

You do know planets have different orbits and they don't always align with each other...RIGHT?

reply

I thought the same thing.odds of hitting it are very small.

reply

That's what I assumed also.

Maybe they hadn't trimmed uranus in awhile so it was obscured.

reply

It would be impossible to pass through Uranus. He would actually had to have gone around it.
