Far from the Madding Crowd

To be fair about this I have only seen trailers. From what I saw I really liked it. The settings, the scenery etc. I think Carey Mulligan is a great actress. I didn't care for the scene with Bathsheba galloping away in trousers and leather jacket and what look like pantomime pirate boots. This I feel was to try and appeal to a modern audience. There is no need. I have read the book many times and saw the Julie Christie version too.
