I loved this version, the scenery, clothing, music, everything was vividly portrayed, and the acting was flawless, but I just didn't see Mulligan as a great beauty to inspire such passion in three men. Standout performance for me in this film was Sheen's.

Actually, I found her credible. A strong independent and lonely woman in the country side in the victorian era may clearly mess up the minds of some lonely guys.
