Kout and her families are Persians which are ethnically whites. I thought they were Arabic due to their dark skins but they are not. {most Persians I have known has lighter skin colour}. And before some person on this forum declares that they are not white, the name Iran means land of the Aryans, and the Aryans are the people that descended into [and mixed with] Europe and Northern India peninsula. So yes, even though they are not European whites, without these Aryans, Europe would still be neanderthal and Northern Indian still Dravidian and veddah.

Anyway, there was clearly and obviously family favoritism going on in this company. There is no way anyone, black or white, was ever going to get ahead in this nepotistic mess of a company. None of them had a college degree. That's why they were willing to work for such a low salary. No other company with decent wages would hire them for professional jobs.
If I wasn't part of that family I would be looking for another job and taking it ASAP. That Zoe guy was better off somewhere else.

This has got to be one of the stupidest conversations I've ever seen here.
Who cares what race or ethnic group the Persians belong to? It shouldn't matter and by pigeonholing people into categories, you characters are just as racist as Hitler, only you aren't genocidal maniacs.
If you look at people as one race, you'll get rid of the stupid and ignorant attitudes that cause racism. Same thing goes for categorizing people. What matters is what kind of person they are, how are they as a human, not what color thay are or shape of facial features.
It's really pretty simple, people who are darker come from ages of antescedents who lived in those areas where there is a hot climate and a lot of sun. People who are lighter descended from the opposite, meaning those who lived in colder, less sunny climates. The color of skin is all about protecting the body from the sun, that's it, even though it's thousands of years of evolution.
Same with facial features, coming from adaptations to the environment. People with thin nostrils lived in colder climates to help warm the air when breathing. Wide nostrils, warm climates.
When all of you characters who love to categorize people are gone, then maybe we'll get rid of racism and bigotry.
