Really enjoying this alternative to reality shows until the point when the first unfortunate contestant was voted off the Island. Err, banished from the Island. Errr, Kingdom..

Why on earth did the show runners turn the outcome into a stupid popularity contest? The contestants were called "paladins", but a true Paladin would never make a dorky choice between two worthy comrades. Hah! The contestants should have lined up equally between the twp low scoring people.

A band of adventurers would show greater morale by refusing to throw one comrade to the wolves.

I think they could have called them something else as they put the group though alot of situations that forced them to compete and make unfortunate decisions.

Champion or something like that.

But its more likely they were using the real world version of the paladin which was an accomplished warrior/knight. Which was what they were each aspiring to.

Make of it what you will.
