Ezra should have died.

Everything that fell down from that junk station landed and exploded within 5 seconds. Yet when the station itself falls down, with Ezra on it, if falls for over 5 minutes. I guess gravity suddenly worked different for "plot reasons".

Rather sloppy.

yup, agreed, it was a great sequence Skooby; especially the pulling Ezra over-to-Kanan's-side bit was visually interesting done and felt very cinematic. 👌👍👌

Your little forey into gravity does not make much sense though, it's the bending of spacetime kid; gravity level will depend on the mass of the planet beneath; also you could fall for hours depending on proximity and orbit rate. Our moon falls to earths for more than 4 billion years. Deal with it like a man.

reply

Missing the point, aren't you? Everything else hit the ground within 5 seconds. The salvage station Ezra was on fell from the same distance. It should have hit the ground after 5 seconds too.

reply

Everything else exploded, yes. But it didn't hit the ground.

Everything that you saw fall was damaged before falling.

Since you saw the ship get freefall into a storm below the station before getting repaired and steered back up logic would appear to indicate the station was high up in a gas giant planet. No ground.

reply

The shuttle fell earlier, and it clearly exploded upon impact after falling only for 5 seconds. The station was also falling incredibly fast. Kanan and Hera had to fly after it.

reply

Some sort of artificial gravity field was holding the station in place. It wasn't just in orbit it seems. If it WAS artificial gravity we don't know anything about how long it would take to stop working entirely. If it WAS in orbit, it would be in a decaying orbit and not falling as such.

reply

It clearly fell, and it fell fast. Kanan and Hera had to fly fast, straight down, in order to catch it.

reply

But it falls slower than the debris, which is why Kanan could catch him.

reply

I will have to rewatch it, but I don't think the station was in free fall. The power was failing, but it was still trying to stay in the sky. Which is why it took longer to blow up.

Small objects exploded in the severe electrical storm below, yes. The larger station was able to remain relatively intact, suffering more damage as it fell.

Ever see Jurassic Park. The fence where the T Rex comes through is a step cliff 30 seconds later.

*beep* happens, roll with it.

I imagine he's dead by the events of the original trilogy.
