Dude u lucky to see this so early. Any more good recommendations from the Frightfest?

Dying to watch this flick. Wont release in India. Will hav to wait for the rental dvd.
It's been in my watchlist for a long time.

It's out now on the net, just caught it. Some will criticize it for being unoriginal considering the plot has been done many times, but production values, pace and mostly solid acting made it an entertaining "slasher" kind of flick. The ending was fitting especially what happened with the female lead.

All in all it was a decent one time watch horror flick, don't expect it to hit theaters as advertised as this is a straightforward indie direct to VOD flick(other than festival showings of course) 6/10.

I only gave it a three. I didn't really care about the characters, and have seen similar plots done better. It is better than alot of the junk movies floating around, but it's really sort of average.

A 5 is average, but you gave it A 3? That kinda rating really drags the scores down, considering this was a average 5, strong 4..

I just watched this and enjoyed it. Sure it kinda meanders a bit but overall ok. I know a lot of folks didn't like the ending, but it's not like it was entirely unexplained or out of the blue, in fact it fit nicely given the film's own mythology. What I didn't like was assuming the poor kid just gets to bleed to death slowly on the cold ground...I've suffered massive blood loss before and it was awful.. Probably would have been better for him to go quick, as it turns out :( Or are we to assume that because the bus driver was still alive that he finished the job?
Again, it was a decent flick, especially for the slasher genre. The monster was fairly creepy. Other people have mentioned this already, but the production value of this movie makes up substantially for its lack of originality.

Production value was good, the acting was solid and I liked the basic premise. The problem is that the film sets up rules for the world it creates and then breaks them. All supernatural horror movies have to set up rules for how things work but you cannot break them. It's a betrayal to the audience. For that reason, I can't truly say I like the film.

Interesting thoughts crankyerma1984, my main problem personally was the stupid characters wandering around aimlessly when a killer was clearly hunting them down. What would have happened if none of them moved from the barn? This cheapened the whole production.

Also how about doing something different at the end and having the kid as the sinner and the father innocent? Would have been far less predictable innit

imatosser, the fact people just kept willingly, stupidly wandering off like they were brain dead to get a closer look at their individual sin visuals was a BIG irritant to me too.

They kept going out there to wander because they didn't believe the lead girl, at least for for a while initially. They all spent a lot of time dismissing her claims as the ravings of a mentally ill girl; therefore they still went walking around.
