Unless someone who's been to a taping swings by this board, we don't know if they actually do try these sketches... only to fail? If they're not funny enough, then they'll never air.
But I agree, I miss Sound Effects and Superheroes for sure. Also that Film Noir thing with narration.

Also, not sure if you mean they rarely or never do it, but they did do Film Noir at least once fairly recently. If you have Comcast ... sorry, xfinity ... it's in one of the episodes that's on demand.
