I watched the season 4 premiere, and is it just me, or does it seem like Ryan doesn't even care anymore? Aside from him acting like a stereotypical horny old man, it's like he doesn't put in the effort or really care. Something about him just seemed off.

Wayne seems okay, and so does Colin, but Ryan, I just don't know. It's like he wasn't putting in my effort, he was falling flat, and then he'd kind of brush off things onto the other person when he was in a skit. There was one in particular where Colin and him were doing an infomercial and he was just like making Colin do all the work.

I wondered if anyone else noticed.

Wow, to me it was the complete opposite. I laughed out loud like 5 times because of Ryan. The hair joke after questions and the Betty White joke to begin with.

Ryan has always been a horny (old) man, but he has very clever humor as well.

You have every right to your opinion ofcourse, but I really enjoyed him this new season so far!

Ryan's been coasting for years. Really, most of the American series. That's not to say he hasn't had his moments since, but his best days are certainly behind him.

Ryan's "coasting" made for some hilarious outtakes (on youtube), and granted I don't think he cared much for the singing bits at all (any of them, not just the hoedown). I actually feel he's putting more effort (slightly more) with the CW shows.

But his best stuff came from his duo collabs with Colin and they're just not letting the two of them get time together anymore — sound effects and superheroes and film noir... I never felt Ryan was coasting during those moments.
