So you're working on this groundbreaking experiment for 4 years and you don't have any back-up documentation of your work besides what was confiscated in that lab and you have to do the entire experiment over from the start? Not one of them thought it would probably be a good idea to digitally store and encrypt the data. Well hell they at least kept an extra bag of serum.
