Worst film ever

Really this was the worst film I've seen in a long time in the theaters . I usually don't say this to people because I want them to find out for themselves but DONT SEE THIS FILM !!!! It is really THAT BAD.. Nothing in it was scary and it was so poorly done it may have well been a bad PBS television movie of the week. I can't say anything remotely good toward this film whatsoever. Bad acting, writing, directing and everything in between . The first real 1 I've ever given a film.

The acting was actually what I thought was really good. How was the acting bad?? They didn't outstanding

reply

Yeah, same. The acting of Wilde and Duplass were actually quite good

Olivia Wilde is great to look at but nothing special at all in the actual acting department. Sold out on this one big time Olivia.. If it was good than please by all means explain what made this a good film???
First movie I've walked out of in a long time. I'm used to better quality films and I'm not saying that because I thought it was absolute garbage doesn't mean nobody should like it (I'm not one of those) but I'd love to hear a good argument as to how this "film" didn't suck ?

This. I thought they were solid especially Peters & Glover.

To be honest, the movie wasn't even that bad. I'll give it a 5 or 6. If you consider this "the worst movie ever" then you probably don't go to the movies that often.

I go a lot .. Just not used to going to see such bad films.. It was a childish horror film. I should have known going in because it was PG13.. How could you think this film was at all good?? And even for the horror genre (which is slim Pickens) it was really bad.. Thank god I got a free ticket to another film when I left after an hr because it was filled with a bunch of 13 yr olds being obnoxious .. Now I know to go with my gut and not go see these cheesy over hyped films.. Shane on me for thinking it may actually have some scare value or cool plot.. Every1 defending this movie has to be younger kids and Tweens .

There is almost no point debating this with you. You've made your opinion very clear on the matter. Even when someone said they thought the acting was the best part, you turned around and said it wasn't, end of story.

Olivia Wilde's performance was on par with her acting. I never thought she was anything special, but she's no slouch. I really enjoyed everyone else's performance, especially Evan Peters.

Moreover, the movie has sparked a debate about religion and such. The movie never gives a clear explanation for what happened to her. Some people say she is possessed. Some people say she went to Hell. Some people say she didn't go anywhere at all, that she was stuck in her on chemically induced white light/nightmare and it drove her insane. It's easy to give answers as a script writer. It's harder to write a script where any and all interpretations could be correct. That's not to say the script was amazing. One plot line was left dangling, which is annoying. Overall, though, despite the story not being all that original, it was at least interesting.

It's important to note, this is all my opinion. At no point have I said yours is wrong. You say you respect other people's opinions bit it's hard to believe when you tell someone their opinion is wrong.

>One plot line was left dangling,

Which plot line? I felt there were two dangling plotlines - I felt that the "big pharma" seizure of their research had some interesting possibilities that weren't explored. Another dangling plotline - her reanimation first of the corpses in the morgue, and later her fiancee (The lining up of her temporarily deceased coworkers seemed to imply they were next to receive the serum transfusions).
Although I wouldn't mind having more insight into what her ultimate purpose behind the reanimations was, I'm glad it didn't become and out-an-out zombie film.

...and Mrs. Taylor sure seems to use a lotta ice, whenever he's away

You know what? It's been so long since I've seen this that I honestly cannot remember. I think it was something to do with the company who bought them...maybe. I'll have to re watch it to remember.

This. I thought the film wasn't all that bad. There are WAY worse horror films out there. Uwe Boll films or the films on SyFy channel are a million times worse.
