So is it as bad as the trailer looks?

I enjoyed the first The Dead Movie, and I wanted to see this one, but that trailer. Looks waaaaay lower budget than the first film.

My intial thoughts watching it were, "Okay to make a modern movie all you need is a Handicam (They're pretty much all HD now) A busy public place where you can badly force perspective, some cheap contacts off E-Bay and a copy of after effects." and not "OH WOW THAT LOOKS AWESOME! SO BIG BUDGET"

So for anyone seeing it, is it as *beep* as it looks? Or after enjoying the first and higher budget looking one, is this one still okay even if it looks like first year film students made it for $2000 or less?

On a slightly related matter.......
Either way this trailer has inspired me to hit up the interwebz for some video software and make a film.
No, I have never made a film before but seeing even what Hollyweird throws out as big budget AAA these days let alone all these god awful home made films doing the rounds, I'm guessing it's not that hard any more, or require actual talent.

Hey if people will pay $50,000+ for potato salad, surely even a *beep* film by me would be easy money yes? At worst I could sell it to SyFy? They buy anything do they not, or would I have to add sharks?

Yes, i think so. I was not impressed by this film. I liked the first film much more.

Going by the trailer the only difference is its in another country with a few small changes to the same storyline, basically its the same as the first film but they added a girl friend and she is preggers, the first film was ok because it was sort of different, think i will give this one a miss, its looks like a cheaper version of the first film and not as good.
