Nina Hagen

In the English dub Nina Hagen did only Dellamorte's songs, her common English dialogues are credited to Katja Bruegger. However, while Hagen's voice is a very distinctive one and her growling cannot be imitated easily, Bruegger managed to sound exactly like Hagen (including that Trrrransylvanian accent). Perhaps they chose Bruegger because Nina demanded too much fee?

Hagen does provide the speaking voice of Dellamorta in the English version. Katja voices another character- an ugly witch that can be seen in a few scenes and says something along the lines of "Now this is what I call a castle". Nina did both Dellamorta's speaking and singing voice for the English dub.

Ah yes, the witch. Somewhere YouTube had its credit facts mixed up. Thanks, mhenderson
