Few thoughts on this bizarre movie

I did like this film even if that's just for the fact it's unlike anything I've ever seen, even in 'out there' Asian movies.

My theories on a few aspects touched on by other posters.

Spoilers of course.

The pregnancy thing towards the end where the main male character is visibly pregnant and is stroking his swollen belly.

I guessed this was a nod to what the blonde queen of the cult/sect said when she dragged him off earlier.

Something along the lines of 'eventually out of every masochist will be born a sadist'.

Also the CGI effect which showed the main guys eyes narrowing and a smaile playing on his face when he was being abused I thought sort of represented him orgasming with pleasure.

Finally the 100-year-old director? I wondered if that was the main character as an old man. I guess a thorough check of the cast list would reveal that.

Anyway, thoroughly recommended if you like some seriously messed up but surprising film making.
