Wikipedia says at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ankur_Arora_Murder_Case that "Its a copy of a Hollywood movie (unnamed) about a christian missionary hospital." but there's no mention of the original movie. What is the name of that Hollywood movie, I would like to know!

It's a remake of the film "the verdict" starring paul Newman. the verdict is one of my favorite films, and this bollywood movie totally ruined a good plot by poor execution, unnecessary melodrama, songs and a very weak portrayal of the legal case

I second that, its sort of replica of 'The Verdict'. A lot of screenplay is simply lifted off as is. In my opinion the court drama of 'The Verdict' is replicated in Jolly LLB as well.
