... actually, I thought the situation with a kid of 19 or 20 was pretty plausible regardless of his skills ... I would imagine his skills would be predicated on a 'control' basis ...
Until he was asked to remove all AND boots, he seemed pretty in charge ...
I think it was 'real' for him to 'panic' a little when he realized he was going to be bird-dogged by Madec ...
He did go straight to 4 sources of survival ... but I thought the time he spent in the old man's mining cave was poorly portayed - unrealistic - except for getting some boots, he wasted a lot of time in there ...
bummer when reality gets completely suspended in order to have another 45 minutes of cat-n-mouse ...
