BRILLIANTLY DIRECTED

...right into the $5 bin at walmart. Michael Douglas did what he could, and was very engaging, but this story was dumb, and the finale, well, lowered my IQ a bit. I've got to go to luminosity.com to sharpen up again. See this movie if you're dumb, or want to become dumb. Can I have some PRIVACY PLEASE?!!

I agree completely. The thing that hurts me is that all the ingredients for a great movie are there, the director just slopped them in a bucket, instead of using some technique. The even bigger bummer is that this style of movie is right up my alley, especially with the brilliant western scenery, and outdoorsmanship, and the defeat of the greedy bastard. Hand those actors, locales, plot, etc., to many other directors, and it could be really good. Just think of what the Cohen's, or Tarrantino could have done!
