Disappointed with antagonist stupidity

I liked the action of the movie a lot. It was well done, but..

In the first gunfight they decided to assault him inside the house, every single gunman. Guns aren't melee weapons, they can shoot through glass and in the middle of the night Wick is a sitting duck in there.

Any opponent with half a brain would've set up snipers and taken him out without even letting him know they were there.

I realize that you have to have suspension of disbelief to watch a movie like this, but it still annoyed me.
