Always pushing gender equality. Wick manages to dispatch a 12-man assassination team by himself but struggles with the girl in his hotel room. Give me a break!

Just stop. Wick struggled with the 12 man crew as well. Also, there's no killing in the hotel, even though Wick obeyed the rule, she didn't.

Yeah what's BS is you desperately looking for BS. The "gender equality" element you speak is so fleeting and minute. I mean she is also portrayed as a conniving, sneaky, villian who gets executed by guys in the end.

I got the impression he didn't really want to kill Perkins. But the truth is, most people (audience) don't want to see a woman get beat up by a guy. In my opinion Perkins should have got the same treatment as the other guys considering her line of work. If John Wick wanted her dead, she would have been.

As to why he didn't kill Perkins, he was trying to keep to the rules of the Continental. It also would appear that the assassins who use the hotel would be more highly skilled than a "crew", this and the fact that John had already been injured would make it plausible that he would struggle more fighting with Perkins.

Wick was also injured at the time which explains why he struggles.
