Song in film

Hi

Anyone know the name/composer of the operatic/classical song that appears in the film?

Cheers!

Which song specifically do you mean? There are songs from 'South Pacific', "The Mikado' and even Johnny Cash.

If you want to know what God thinks of money, just look at the people he gave it to.

You might also be referring to the very beautiful song Viens, Mallika aka the Flower Duet from the Opera Lakme by Leo Delibes.

Full title according to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakm%C3%A9#Musical_numbers

No. 2 – Duetto (The Flower Duet): "Viens, Mallika, les lianes en fleurs ... Dôme épais, le jasmin (Come Mallika, the lianas in bloom ... The jasmine forms a dense dome)" (Lakmé, Mallika)

It's also the long standing British Airways theme.

They play it on their onboard entertainment system as their background theme when nothing else is playing.

They used to play it in the cabin, also, while people were boarding. It's great background music, calm and pretty for an aircraft cabin.

This film is the second one this week I've seen that uses it for a score!

A lot of people who score films must use BA--a lot. ha
