Had mixed feelings, but I enjoyed it

This film is rather quirky. In fact, I thought that this movie was based off a theatrical play because of it's quirkiness. Apparently, that's not the case.
I did enjoy this film quite a bit, though. The acting was interesting, the visuals were beautiful, and the plot was strange enough for me to want to finish watching the movie.
I was a bit put off at the start, but quite glad I stuck with it. I was actually quite surprised at how much I enjoyed this film.

Anyway, those are my thoughts. Anyone else feel the same way?

On the whole I enjoyed the film, although my wife felt it was a bit confused about when it wanted to end, and how. I can see that up to a point. What held it back was the feel of the last say 15 minutes, from when the Liam Hemworth character you know what. But as always Kate Winslet was excellent, as here was also Judy Davis. Great work between them. The supporting cast was also very good. I gave it an 8.
