Pointless scene after the end credits

That shot doesn't really add anything. Nobody could hear the screaming?

Overall, a decent film ruined by lame jump scares, and a hammy performance by Peter Stormare (as the parole officer). The kids are fine in their roles, but the writing is ludicrous.

Hacking into a home's security system, and getting a complete blueprint of the house?

Pick up your iPhone and FILM what you're seeing!

For a neighborhood with homes close together, it would be impossible for surrounding inhabitants to not hear what is going on.

I am assuming that the kids recently graduated from high school? (Or, is it just summer break? If so, why does his "platonic" girlfriend need to study? Summer school?) Etc.

I think Netflix cut this scene off. All I see is a car pulling into a driveway.

Was there more, or was that it?

Halfway through credits, on Netflix, there IS a quick scene. A truck drives down the street, by the parole officer's car at an intersection. You can hear the lead actor screaming in pain (minus his leg, of course).

I enjoyed the movie. Yeah, a few things were far fetched, but I turn my brain off while watching movies so logic won't ruin it haha. The last scene was funny more then anything. Not sure if it was to set up a sequel or if it was to show she was taking him and they weren't still in the house (you know, explain to people who turn their brains off and not get that cutting his leg off explained she took him. And of course her saying "I won't let anyone find us").

So, just so I understand the ending here, Abby turned evil and took Daniel?

That was the plot twist?

Abby unknowingly also did the first 4 steps of the ritual, so when she burned the candle, she didn't break the spell, she completed it with Mona possessing HER instead of Daniel. If that's what you mean by "turning evil" then yes, but she didn't just "snap" from unrequited love or anything. ;)

Never saw her burn a candle. The other time I saw the candle was it melted on that shelf

Just got done watching the movie and jumped right to the message boards to see if that last shot bothered anyone else. Added incase we didn't get that he was taken away by the possessed friend? Didn't really add much
