shareThe studio were in a delusional spell when it came to the Divergent series. The media, from the start had the films pegged as the next Harry Potter, Twilight and Hunger Games series and the studio delusionally thought the same. To Fox's credit they knew that the Maze Runner series wouldn't be able to survive 100+mil budgets and splitting up the 3rd novel, it is really unfortunate that other studios didn't follow their lead.
