I see the rating is going up
I guess the initial reaction in which people were automatically voting it a 1 without seeing it has worn off now that more people are actually watching the movie and realizing that it is actually pretty good.

This movie was made for fans of the show. If you're not a fan, then obviously this isn't for you.
In a saner world people wouldn't sate their opinions as facts or put others down for liking shows they don't.

I gave it 2 stars. Tolerable, but I hope they never do something like this again.

Yeah, 1 is what a ranked Un Chien Andalou
(An Andalusian Dog), a very disturbing black and white film about god slicing open his own thumb, then holding a woman still while she wordlessly has her eyeball sliced open with a razor, then theres a guy who gets turned on by watching androgenous women being run over and killed by cars, hell you can't even give this movie a plot, its just on cut of disturbing to the next...damn SPANISH experimental cinema, but salvador dali does play , lets say "A confused preist" haha this movie was far better, the kids loved it, and I for once didnt have to be really high or drunk to get through my little pony, god that shows so sweet I think it gave me the diabeetus
I was referring to IMDb ratings, in which a 1 is the lowest something can get.
Under my system a 5-6 is for something that is just bland and left no real impact on me, and anything above or below that is for varying levels of like or dislike.
Do everyone a favor, and stop telling people how they should use IMDB. This site is for everyone, including those who hate the movies, games and shows featured on here. This show shouldn't be for anyone over the age of 6.
Do us all an extra favor and stop trying to proclaim to everyone that the show is "well-written" when all the grown men that watch it have a chubby for the female cartoon horses. This is an ugly looking show that has attracted ugly people, in appearance and soul.

Allow me to be clear on one thing: If you hate My Little Pony, that's perfectly fine. If you've actually seen Equestria Girls and hated it, by all means, go ahead and give it a one star rating. However, if you haven't even seen the movie because you hate MLP in general and you give it the one star rating just to lower the rating...that's kind of a dick thing to do. It's like if there was a guy who hated the original "Transformers" cartoon and never saw the 1986 animated film for that reason, then gave it a one star rating and told all his like-minded friends to do the same just for the sake of lowering it's imdb rating.
People who've actually watched this movie are the ones who should be rating it, not those who never saw it because they hate MLP in general. I've never seen any of the "Jackass" movies because I didn't like the show, thus I am unfit to rate the movies.
I also think it's pretty douchie when you stated at the end that "In a saner world this would be scrapping the bottom 100", implying that those of us who actually like this movie must be out of our minds just for feeling that way.

Do you not understand what it means when someone says something you're doing is douchie? As in, "You're being a douche"? Did you not grasp the whole context of what I said in the last post?
Actually, never mind, I suppose it's pointless to try to talk sense to a guy who apparently has nothing better to do with his spare time than giving one star ratings to movies he'll never watch just because it's based on a franchise he hates, just to bring the rating down, and who thinks other people must be insane just for liking something he doesn't.
