Meaning of the title ("Thou Gild'st the Even") of this film.

Hi, to those of you who have seen it and those who haven't, what exactly does this Turkish film's title in English "Thou Gild'st the Even" actually MEAN?

We know its an ancient English almost if not completely Shakesperean term/sentence/expression/what have you, but what does it mean in modern plains land English language?

I was assuming it is something like "You make gold in the evening", is that correct? Thanks!
