Was there something deliberately weird about Worricker's hands?

Is there something wrong with the ring finger and pinkie of each of his hands? Through all three episodes, I couldn't help but notice his two-fingers-and-a-thumb handshakes and, in the final episode, it appeared that his left hand seemed to be the same.
