Everything about it was bad. The writting was canned and typical and rediculous. With all of those great actors the performances were dead flat like they were reading que cards. Completely unsuspenseful. Totally predictable and silly. The eniter premise was so unoriginal and unbelievable.
As a mystery it was for the brain dead. Not a mystery at all.
The correct word is stupid.
Sure ive seen shows that were more stupid but this is suposed to be masterpiece contemporary? What !? Its like taking a crap and calling it a masterpiece.
It's very British... definitely not your ordinary Hollywood spy-political-thriller movie. This movie reflects the typical British traits of calmness, witty, and civilized behavior. This is not "Syriana" but more like "The Constant Gardener". I like to watch foreign movies from time to time to break away from the typical Hollywood style. Too much of anything can get boring and definitely will need a change.
shareThis is nothing like the constant gardener. Its like a low budget Hollywood piece of garbage by people with no tallent trying to break into show businesses. There wasn't one witty thing about it.
They got a great cast by being masterpiece contemporary and wasted it on poor directing and worse writting. It was phoned in predictable tripe.
I agree with everything else you said however. Just don't think this one measures up. Looks like they were just fulfilling a contract instead of trying to make something good.
