For people who have flipped a LOT of houses...

They sure do miss a lot of things and consistently under-estimate the amount they're going to have to spend on rehabs. It seems like they'd have learned by now -- unless the producers want them to underestimate so that the overruns add to the fake drama.

My thoughts exactly. Every time the contractor comes in with a new problem and they reply "What?!" I just roll my eyes. My wife loves this show... I hate it. I've flipped a couple dozen houses. I never had a single "What?!" moment.

I watched an episode this weekend where they were going through a house, presumably before buying it, checking off all the boxes of the things they needed to do. I noticed huge water stains in every room they looked at. Even the most rank amateur in the world knows what causes that.

Well....so I'm sitting there thinking, "I bet they will 'discover' the place needs a new roof, and they will act all surprised." Well.....you guessed it. The roof was bad, and Tarek acted like this discovery was the biggest surprise of the year. Pitiful.....such obvious scripting.

You don't need to be amateur to know what cause water stains hell kids know cause water stains

I agree. i am a Realtor here in NH. I have never flipped a home, but i have walked thru enough homes to know what I would look for, before buying a flip.

It's all made up BS to make the show dramatic. They know exactly what they're getting into.
