stupidity of the safety crew in this show

It seems they slept through their WHMIS certification.

- to vent a wood stove to an adjoining room to smoke fish is a dangerous way of creating a dangerous buildup of carbon monoxide gas in the house. There is a recent news story of entire household succumbing to carbon monoxide poisoning from a generator in the adjoining garage. Presumably it happened before the episode was filmed.

- to use an oxygen tank as a torpedo in a house is a good way to start a fire. They should have used a regular compressed air or a more inert gas like carbon dioxide. There are strict hazmat guidelines to (mis)handling oxygen tanks and it seems none of these were followed. And besides Mythbusters already demonstrated torpedo gas tanks years ago.

The title of the show should be "Never Ever Do This at Never Ever Do This at Home".
