Typical prison flick - yet fails on many levels...

This is your typical prison flick with more plot holes than a chunk of Swiss cheese! Man, the writing not his was equally as bad as the acting.

One in particular character was the 18 year old kid. What a total loser! I couldn't figure out if he was a mentally challenged or just stupid! Seemed like every scene he was in he ended up wincing and crying. I've seen plenty of prison film to know that kind of behavior will get you a*s raped within seconds of showing up.

And whatever happened to the storyline of the guy who was framed for murdering the guard? Seemed like that was going somewhere but it simply stopped as soon as guards framed him.

Speaking of the guards that framed him, I was expecting two things from the older one:

1. He was going to bust out singing The Gambler
2. The words "I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I drink Dos Equis" were going to spew from his wrinkled face

Horrible, just horrible movie all the way around. At least we got to see a hot chick undress down to her drawers!

So andrew-pena-1 you don't think there are people out there who are not tough enough for prison and end up there? Get a clue.

In regards to the prison guards there are all types. I don't see what was wrong with the guards at all. There were various types in the movie for sure.

Horrible movie? Obviously you don't know a decent flick and your last comment says enough about you and whether or not anyone should take your rating of this movie seriously.

I thought it was a well- directed independent feature with great central performances, but I'd just love to see one of these prison movies where the warden and virtually all the guards aren't corrupt and actually take some pride in their work.🐭
