The evil warden has been done to death in Hollywood prison movies (e.g. Tango and Cash, Death Warrant etc) but i thought this was a gritty fairly realistic portrayal of prison politics
None of the characters were too over the top, the fight scenes weren't over the top
Overall quite an enjoyable movie
I would have no trouble recommending this to anyone. It was done well and when I had this pegged as an average movie the many layers to the ending made it better than average. I am going to rate this a 7 for now.
