Manglehorn - Rated R for some sexual material.

Nice. David Gordon Green has described the film as a "magical fable" so I was kind of wary of it possibly getting a PG13...

Should see a trailer soon. Hoping!

Bad news:
Manglehorn - Rated PG-13 on appeal for some sexual content and language, and for accident and surgery images.
NOTE: PLEASE NOTE THE ORIGINAL "R" RATING, BULLETIN NO. 2365 (3/18/15) HAS BEEN
CHANGED BY THE APPEALS BOARD.

It's apparently the same film though, they didn't cut it (or so it seems), they just fought the rating

Yeah, when watching the movie, I was actually wondering how the hell this got an R at first. It's pretty tame.
Heck, it could have gotten a PG, even.
