What's the significance of the scene with Gary bringing Manglehorn to the shady massage parlor? I don't get it. Wouldn't he know what he's walking into? Run-down establishment, naked men running around, it's obviously a brothel. Why did he get so angry all of a sudden, I thought he wanted it. Can anyone care to explain?

He is just nuts, because he has driven himself nuts. He wants it, but he doesn't
want it, and then he unfairly blames the guy and punches him out. He was a
son of a bitch, as he later admitted. I don't know why anyone would want to
have anything to do with him.
