Bad boring film...

I love Pacino, but this was a waste of his talents! I won't fault anyone else who likes it, but I thought it was a boring meandering mess.

It is indeed quite pointless. This could have worked as a mood piece without the intrusive soundtrack and choppy editing, but a better script and character development was what this film really needed. 6/10 stars from me.

I just saw this recently and found only one redeeming scene, and that was near the end when his son came over (for the first time in a long time) to see him. Other than that, it kinda reminds me someone's personal memoirs brought to the screen and that of what just about everyone goes through in life, in letting it go. I think Al is beginning to mellow in these his advanced years. I'd be generous to give it a 5.5.

No matter how bad a movie is there always seem to be many people who it seems special
to and who give it a 10? Go figure. i thought it was pretty bad.

kept wondering if there was some paint drying somewhere I could watch, it would e far more exciting than Manglehorn
