"A Dangerous Mind"

I felt so bad for this lady and her coworker. Everything that was done was by the book. She didnt blow off his odd behavior or encourage it. I give her props for still going back to work in some capacity.

I couldn't watch past about the first fifteen minutes because of that "Maria" character - the slow, breathy, almost 'seductive' voice and the constant bragging to make herself seem like some kind of ingenious person who was responsible for all good things to happen in the hospital. The voice, however, just killed me - it was truly the most irritating speaking intonation and pattern I've ever heard. I was breaking out in hives just listening...... =(

This episode, like this show always does, irritated the heck out of me. For this episode, it seemed like the police were acting completely incompetent. They continued to use the blowhorn which they knew irritated the suspect, and in turn it got one of the women killed because they continued to infuriate him. When they FINALLY broke into the building, I was thinking, WOW why didn't you do that earlier!? Pissed me off.

Also, the episode description on my cable guide said "a psychiatric nurse fires a junior [...] and CAUSES A TWO DAY HOSTAGE SITUATION." Wtf. She didn't cause it! Why would they use such victim blaming wording in the shows description? Sigh.

Was that fat slob Denis Czajkowski only suspended from his nursing job after he was busted for heroin? He should have been banned from all healthcare professions. You can't trust a junkie to administer medications.

reply

Yes he was on temporary suspension. That was the final straw for him.
