Fill me in on first 1/2 of the terrible apartment next door neighbor?

I just happened upon this show while being here at my parents' house over the holidays; I'm a regular ID/true crim junky. I was able to DVR the last 31min. of the show, but I don't know how it got to the point that there were a bajillion boxes stacked outside the main person's apartment door, if the crazy neighbor lived there first or the main person was there first, and, I'm sure I missed it, but,why these other neighbors who MUST have been hearing her didn't want to be involved in lodging complaints about the crazy neighbor.
I appreciate your help with filling me in!

Amy decides it's time for her to buy her first house, but has to stay within a certain budget. She's surprised to find a place that she really likes when the current owners are anxious to vacate quickly. She places a low offer with her agent, and is surprised again when her offer is taken.

A few days after she moves in, she hears a woman screaming through her wall. Cursing her, etc. She tries to ignore it, but notices that every few days, it continues again. At some point she calls police to report that someone next door might be in some kind of trouble due to the threats, but she feels that she doesn't properly explain herself, and the police don't really have much to go on. Amy finally goes to knock on her neighbor's door to ask if everything is okay, then finds her neighbor says something like "I will try to control my screaming." She also says several strange things about how she likes how Amy has decorated her place, and that it's much better than the last tenants.

Some time later, the neighbor appears as Amy is coming home, and asks questions about Amy's doormat. Amy hesitantly tells the neighbor where she got it, and the neighbor says "I will go and get one. I will be just like you..."

I believe shortly after that is where you picked up the rest of the episode.

I might have missed some details, but I'm just winging it from memory.
