Mad for Teacher episode

I live in Ohio and had never heard of this fascinating case. I wonder if they changed the location? Not much on Google either...

reply

I live in Ohio too.. Springfield... where did this happen?

reply

I also live in Ohio and had never heard this case either. I do know that Springfield is about 45 miles from Columbus and 25 miles from Dayton because I have relatives in both cities.

That's all I know. lol

reply

I did get to watch it last night and I saw it was in "springfield, Ohio".. but then the next scene shows palm trees outside the school... and we don't have palm trees in Ohio...

reply

LOL! No, we don't. I missed that; must have been stuffing my face.

reply

Reenactment shows are notorious for those kind of inaccuracies.

reply

I'm pretty sure they changed locations and the names of the victims for the show because the guy is out of prison.

reply

Maybe Todd needed discipline instead of being rewarded with one on one attention from an attractive female teacher.

reply

Was this the one where he took the teacher and her daughter?

reply

No this is the one where the looney kid drove his car through the teacher's house. I'm glad the dog didn't get run over.

reply

Oh right thanks. I don't think I have seen that one before. I am also glad the dog didn't get run over though.

reply

I almost cried when I thought the dog was dead. What I don't understand on these episodes is when they announce at the end at the stalker is out of jail and whereabouts are unknown. Surely these stalkers don't just forget about their victims. As mentally-ill as some of these stalkers are, I have a difficult time believing that they don't somehow keep contacting the victims.

reply

Is it just me or was Todd on the spectrum? They just mention the hearing part if I remember correctly.
