I've sat through two seasons and I just don't get it. Ballers doesn't seem to have a true storyline or any real drama. It's like lets just throw out a bunch of stereotypical football sh-t and then on to the next episode. Terrell Suggs and whatever scenes he's been in were the only ones I found interesting. The drama between him and Spence was great and then of course they gotta make them allies so now what?
After all of that meds foolishness between Spence and his doctor, a great writer would have had him OD or something bad happen to him the way he swallows those pain killers like their Willy Wonka's Nerds. Nope, he saunters into surgery after having t*ts in his face and a speech to some rookies? These two things motivated that how? I was waiting for him to pass out but got nothing. Ok again.
