I am not a mormone but I loved this movie

Nor am I the director of this movie. Still, I think it was quite good.

Do you think they're cognizant of how bad they got it?

I liked it. I'm not Mormon but I am a spiritual person, so while I enjoyed the themes/messages, I was acutely aware that non-religious people would probably be dying watching this movie. Too bad, lol. The only kind of weird thing was the implication that their faith is what saved them. While I do understand the point of turning the cheek and doing the right thing, even faced with death and destruction.... that doesn't always work as keeping someone safe or protected. You know, as if faith and doing the right things means you'll be rewarded with being protected and saved. Even in Jesus' case. You saw what happened there. He still got tortured and killed. And missionaries say in the Middle East now are getting beheaded even still.

But overall I liked the themes and the movie in general. To me refreshing to see some more spiritual/religious/uplifting things. And it makes me curious to find more about the real story of these two.
