bad, bad writing

No cops in their right mind would lay charges on a low level informant just because they didn't give a good enough tip. For one thing they still won't have enough evidence to take the case to court. And even an arrest would compromise any further investigation of the big fish not to mention discourage other informants to come forward.

Worse in this current episode they setup the main villain to be someone "that never backs down," even not fearing crossing other drug lords and then the climax hangs on his backing down from a game of chicken with Rebecca. Just stupid.

I've been basically sticking with it for Agam Darshi. But this clearly is not improving. I think I'll stick to her web shorts and leave this show to others.

They're repeating the diplomatic immunity myth from Lethal Weapon franchise from over 20 years ago. It does not give a diplomat or their staff *carte-blanche* to commit any crime without punishment.

And the Bosnian security detail look like a bunch of slobs who slept in their military fatigues. And I don't think Canadian authorities would appreciate soldiers from a non-NATO country walking freely around like that.

I'm in the states and have been watching via piratebay torrents. This latest episode (10) had some bizarre play-by-play narration throughout as in "moreland closes the file..moreland walks toward the vhs with the tape." Is this because I downloaded a strange version or was the version that aired on tv like this too? It was barely watchable!!

reply

You downloaded a version for the visually impaired.
go to eztv.it to get the repacked version without the voice over.

reply

LOL omg! I had NO idea such versions even existed! thank you for explaining it to me!

reply

Every once in a rare while a torrent shows up like that. Even with US shows. They usually send a repack after people alert them to their mistake.
