Great movie. Relatable characters and authentic dialogue. Conversations with friends/lovers we've all had. Surprised it hasn't attracted a wider audience.

So strange. One thread, and this movie is rated a 5.8?
I haven't see a movie I liked this much in a really long time. It reminded me a little of Half Nelson, which is one of my favorite movies.
The soundtrack was incredible too. I watched this with headphones, which is always preferable, but the way the music picked for the club scene was incredible. It was edited to fit the visuals so perfectly that I felt like I was there, and I felt like I was in that situatioon.
I'm not even a big fan of film, for whatever reason, but this movie couldn't have been better served by any medium.
It's hard to imagine this movie not connecting with more people. It would seem that anyone, female or male, from a teenager to someone in their 40's (or older) would find something that resonated with them.
Oh well, there are just those movies you come across that strike a nerve and are instantly one of your favorites, and then here on IMDb people just talk sh*t or don't get it. Idk.
