Seeing it this Sunday!!!

Heading up north about 30 minutes to Chicago, can't wait! I'll be seeing Youth at 2:00pm, and then Macbeth at 4:45 for the Chicago Film Festival. I'm ecstatic. Have been waiting so long for this one. Wednesday, then, I'll be heading back for one more film, Carol.

Just saw Steve Jobs today lol, looks like I'm having a Fassbender weekend! I'll let you know what I think, I'll probably love it though. The atmosphere and story is right up my alley.

Did you love it?

I wouldn't say love, but I thought it was great. Really good all around but the extremely thick Scottish accents took me out of the film a little. 8/10

Maybe since a kid, I use to like all things Scottish before it turned into loving all things Irish. So I am use to both accents. As for Scottish accents are concerned what was in the movie wasn't even the thickest at all. There is some far worst than that which sounds like a Scot drowning in water when he speaks.

The Scottish accents in this film was fairly mild, because you had mostly English actors playing Scots. But I can understand how those not use to various British accents can find it irritating.

For me, the only accent that irritates me is a thick Welsh.

Yeah, most accents normally don't throw me through a loop as much as the Scottish. The only other one I can think of is South African (Beasts of No Nation made me turn them subtitles on, lol). I'll definitely be buying this on bluray, I think I'll enjoy it a lot more cause I'll put on closed captioning while I watch it.
