MacBORING

I have no idea how people sat through this entire movie. I fell asleep after 15 minutes. What a snooze fest.

And no, the visuals don't save this movie. It's the same old trite melodramatic lighting, slow mo, etc that you see in every modern epic movie or TV show like Game of Thrones.

Let me guess, this movie also cost over 100 million to make? Pathetic. What a waste of money.

You're an idiot. You go to see Macbeth and expect an action-adventure film? *beep* off and go watch Transformers, simpleton.

reply

Yeah well that's just like your opinion man.

reply

Even though I disagree with your views on this excellent film, I applaud your Lebowski reference.

reply

Agreed, what a boring movie. The dialogue was so hard to follow and overly done in Old English. I rarely fall asleep in movies, but was nodding after 30m....zzzz 

reply

While I agree it isn't the best version of the play I have seen, your assessment of the language is off. That is the English of Shakespeare's era, which is several centuries after Old English.

Middle English bud

You fell asleep after 15 minutes yet you know all about the lighting etc. I think you're lying and never actually saw it. The giveaway is the boring in the thread title and the falling asleep after a few minutes. Knuckle dragger.

It was pretty bad i fell asleep the first time after 20 minutes it took me 3-4 days in short 15-20 sequences to finish the movie

Interesting. I'm watching it right now (42 minutes so far) and was thinking about stop it and continue tomorrow and then a little more the day after...
I never read Macbeth (now I'm interested, I'll probably read) but the movie is kinda tiresome.
