So I'm watching this on Hulu...the first episode ends with the Sheriff on a table, bleeding, saying he's gonna get Cole Younger. Then, that's it.
Next episode, completely new thing. Did I miss something major?
Everybody likes the Shen.
We're just suppose to assume he recovered and he does mention Cole shooting him in the shoulder and gut in later episodes. Several episodes end with the assumption they get out of "sure to die" situations with no explanation of how.
