Despite it’s endgame shortcomings, the film features a diverse cast of characters, anchored by an incredible lead performance by the sympathetic, skuzzball protagonist. With clever writing, situations, and an inventiveness not often featured in general, straightforward crime movies, this is a definite must see for fans of the genre.
